- Currently a major journal article is being prepared which integrates thin silicon membranes and light trapping photonic crystal constructs based on an amorphous-crystalline silicon heterojunction platform. This report constitutes the first such integration which points toward the potential of high efficiency thin silicon photovoltaics.
