The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has composed a useful website for PV education to a variety of age groups. Lesson plans are available on solar energy topics for learners in primary school all the way through to high school, making it useful for anyone with a high school education to understand the basic of PV energy generation. There is a college and university-level learning material available as well but PVCDROM is perhaps a more useful resource for advanced learners.
